 Dr. Barry Ekdom Dr. Ekdom is trained in clinical neuropsychology. Post-doctoral fellowships in the Neurology Departments at Cornell and Georgetown University Medical Schools. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa and began his practice at the University of Iowa Hospitals. Dr. Ekdom has provided neuropsychological assessment and treatment in medical and educational settings for over fifteen years. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Ekdom is a member of three major neuropsychological societies (National Academy of Neuropsychology, International Neuropsychological Society, American Psychological Association Division 40-Clinical Neuropsychology) that provide ethical guidance, ongoing training, and professional development.
